The MIB are back! Or do we call them MIBs? Who really knows these days? It has been around six years since Men In Black III gave us an adventure with Agents J and K, time traveling all around to save the world once again.

This time, it's Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson coming back together after Thor: Ragnarok to pick up the mantle and head overseas for Men In Black International.

So that's MIBI? Right?

It's A Spinoff!

Columbia Pictures

The new film will be directed by Fast 8 and Straight Outta Compton's F. Gary Gray and is being called a spinoff of the original films. That leaves room in case Will Smith wants to return and have some gangbusters movie in like five years.

Thompson is Agent M and she joins up with Emma Thompson's Agent Oh in New York before heading overseas to team with Hemsworth as Agent M. There's Liam Neeson as the head of the London MIB branch, which means he's added to his considerable skills.

A Real James Bond Quality

Columbia Pictures

The trailer itself has a nice James Bond with aliens quality to it, with the duo jet-setting around the globe instead of just hanging around New York like the previous films. Earth is a big place and New York can't house every alien.

Bond isn't the only film idea referenced. Hemsworth humorously references his own role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by picking up a hammer and trying his hand in this film series.

Doesn't go well.

Coming Next Summer

Columbia Pictures

The film will drop in Summer 2019, already adding to a stacked release schedule in terms of tentpole films. If they have discussed the blockbuster season expanding in past years, 2019 will definitely put it to the test with this, Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King, The Joker, Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, Aladdin, Star Wars 9, and the next Wonder Woman.

And that's not even all of them!
