Mockingjay will turn Panem into a war zone and Katniss into a fearless leader!

After having barely escaped the arena of the last Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 finds Katniss Aberdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as a refugee in District 13. The leaders of the rebellion want her to spearhead the uprising against the tyrannical Capitol with its leader President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Yet Katniss is hesitant.

Will she become what the people always saw in her: the Mockingjay, the symbol of the revolution?

Sources say Danny Strong has been selected to write both final installments. Francis Lawrence, who directed The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will return to helm the remainder of the series.
