Brit Marling infiltrates Alexander Skarsgrds anarchist group
The East is centered on ex-FBI agent Sarah Moss (Brit Marling), who gets tasked to infiltrate an anarchist group, only to find becoming closer and closer to their charismatic leader, Benji (Alexander Skarsgrd).
Responsible for the screenplay for The East, are Brit Marling and director Zal Batmanglij already wrote the script for the similarly themed Sound of My Voice together, in which Marling also co-starred.
