The Marvel Cinematic Universe expands to television, as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) get their own TV show.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. centers on unsung Avengers-hero Agent Phil Coulsen (Clark Gregg), who returns from a summer hanging out with The Avengers to head up S.H.I.E.L.D, putting together a whole new team of agents to handle top-secret cases.

Never mind the characters on screen, there’s a veritable dream team working behind the scenes. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is being created by some of the brightest lights in TV-writers and producers from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Alias, Lost, Smallville, Angel and Firefly.
