A fast-paced martial arts adventure with fight choreography by Sammo Hung

Tai Chi Hero picks up where its predecessor, Tai Chi Zero ended: martial arts genius Yang Luchan Lu Chan (Yuan Xiaochao) is about to marry village beauty Yu Niang (Angelababy). With that marriage Chan gains access to the Chen village’s special brand of Tai Chi, which is forbidden to outsiders. When the village’s prodigal son returns however, he reminds everyone of a prophecy of doom, directly connected with Chan’s presence…

Tai Chi Hero is the sequel to Tai Chi Zero. Stephen Fung’s fast-paced martial arts adventures were filmed back-to-back: Tai Chi Hero is graced by fight choreography from the great Sammo Hung Kam-Bo (Ip Man).
