Aha! Beloved TV series character Alan Partridge comes to the big screen!

The long-awaited movie of Steve Coogan’s most famous comic creation has been announced: Alan Partridge, a fictional TV and radio presenter, and arguably the most hilariously awkward character ever created on British television.

Although there is no word on the plot yet, the talent involved in scripting the film is rather impressive: Peter Baynham (Borat), Armando Iannucci (In the Loop, The Thick of It), Patrick Marber (Closer), Neil and Rob Gibbons (Alan Partridge on Open Books with Martin Bryce, Mid Morning Matters with Alan Partridge) and Steve Coogan, Mr. Alan Partridge himself, worked on the screenplay.

From director(s)
Declan Lowney
Starring
Monica Dolan, Sean Pertwee, Felicity Montagu, Colm Meaney and Steve Coogan
