FAQ

What is moviepilot.com?

moviepilot.com is a new home for upcoming movies. And a home for the movie buffs around the globe who care about them.

moviepilot.com is building a personal recommendation and discovery service for movies and TV shows. Through moviepilot.com, you can trace the evolution of a movie from start to finish; from rumor to the red carpet. You can engage with your favorite projects way before they hit the big screen or a mass audience. What’s more, we want you to participate... Comment, vote, share, get involved.

Why bother?

Nobody filters the relevant movie news from the irrelevant. And we’re still missing a real, viable home for upcoming movies. A home for those of us who believe in a project before it hits the box office.

How do you do it?

Pure science-magic. The Force. And, at the same time, through back-breaking, logic-bending research, through a mother’s love of movies and with a devotion that can only be described as saintly.

Seriously, we’ve got the whole web covered. That means news sources, Facebook buzz and all the chitter chatter on Twitter.

A home for upcoming movies? What does that mean?

Think of any upcoming movie. Maybe it’s in production, in pre-production even. Do you know a place online that’s up to date on its progress? Do you know a place to discuss the latest news about it, or a place that brings its fans together? Well, that’s a home and that’s what we’ve created.

Does moviepilot.com only cover movies?

No way. Aside from upcoming movies, we’re into scripted TV, franchises, genres, gossip, studios and nifty little umbrella topics like DC Comics, festivals and the Oscars.
