The Witches

The Witches will be an adaptation of Roald Dahls classic childrens novel of the same name. The story follows a seven year old boy and his encounter with real-life witches.

Mexican director Guillermo del Toro will direct this stop-motion feature. If it's anything like his dark and fanciful Pan's Labyrinth, then we can expect a more somber and visually inspired take on the story, which was last adapted to screen by director Nicolas Roeg in his 1990 film starring Anjelica Huston.
