The Coen Brothers groove to the beat of 1960s Greenwich Village!
With Inside Llewyn Davis, the Coen Brothers turn their attention to Greenwich Village's folk scene of the 1960s. Rising star Oscar Isaac (, ) plays the fictional title hero and struggling musician Llewyn Davis, who is loosely based on folk singer Dave Van Ronk. His Drive co-star Carey Mulligan is cast as his extremely reluctant love interest, with John Goodman () and increasingly impressive singer-turned-actor Justin Timberlake () also on board.
The Coen Brothers are reuniting with T-Bone Burnett for Inside Llewyn Davis. The legendary musician produced the bluegrass music of the Coen's 2000 hit O Brother, Where Art Thou! which had a spectacularly succesful soundtrack. Expect similarly great results for the folk music of Inside Llewyn Davis!
