A remake of the horror classic, starring the great Chloe Moretz in the title role!

Carrie (Chloe Moretz), a sheltered high school girl suffering under her religious mother (Julianne Moore), unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers.

Chloe Moretz steps into the prom dress that Sissy Spacek () famously wore in the first adaptation of Stephen King's novel. Julianne Moore's role of the overly religious mother was originally played by Piper Laurie. The first adaptation was directed by Brian de Palma. This time Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry) is behind the camera.
