Terminator 5

The legendary sci-fi saga is still set to continue with a fifth film featuring the Skynet cyborgs vs. humanity. With the script still being worked, there's no official word yet whether the plot will pick up where the 2009 film left off, or follow a brand new storyline.

After over a year of delays, producers Megan and David Ellison (Lawless, World War Z) have acquired the rights to the Terminator franchise, with Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to one of his trademark franchises.

Justin Lin of The Fast and the Furious franchise was previously set to direct, but has since dropped out in favor Fast and Furious 6. Linda Hamilton was rumored at one point to be reuniting for the film, but these reports have since been denied.
