Aaron Eckhart will star as the Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson in an upcoming biopic. Directed by Randall Miller (, ) The Drummer will focus its attention on the last six years of Wilson's life including his tumultuous relationship with Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter Christine McVie (Vera Farmiga) before his death in 1983. Chloe Moretz takes on the role of Wilson's daughter Jennifer, who was with him during the darkest times in his life.
