Lego: The Piece of Resistance (2014)

The creators of 21 Jump Street are ensuring that Lego gets the awesome movie it deserves!

Emmet (Chris Pratt), an average, law-abiding Lego mini-figure is mistaken for an exceptionally well-versed Master Builder. He is then drafted by a group of exceptionally gifted individuals, who have assembled to fight an evil tyrant who plans to glue the universe together.

Lego: The Piece of Resistance will be a hybrid of live-action and Lego-based animation. Directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller are responsible for the successful 21 Jump Street remake. Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption) is on board to voice a character named Vitruvius alongside The Hunger Games' Elizabeth Banks who also lends her talents together with Liam Neeson (Taken), Will Ferrell (Stranger Than Fiction) and Alison Brie (Community).
