Live By Night

The story of a charismatic young gangster and his rise through the ranks of the underworld of Prohibition-era America. Joe Coughlin is the black-sheep son of a police captain who does not follow in his father's footsteps, and instead chooses a life of crime.

Ben Affleck (Argo) directs this adaptation of award winning novelist Dennis Lehane's Live By Night. This is not the first time a Lehane novel has been adapted to the big screen, with , and , which was directed by Affleck, all based on the author's work.
