The ironic true story of a corrupt politician bent on cleaning up corruption

David O. Russell (The Fighter, Flirting With Disaster) plans to direct this biopic of Rode Island Mayor Buddy Cianci. The politican was celebrated for rooting out corruption in his home state during his 21 year stint but served five years for racketeering himself. The film will be based on Cianci's memoir 'Politics And Pasta'.
