The Graveyard Book

Based on the award-winning fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book centers on young Nobody Owens, who is adopted and raised by the occupants of a graveyard following the murder of his family.

Animation legend Henry Selick (Coraline) was at one point set to direct The Graveyard Book in stop-motion but left the project. Ron Howard (Apollo 13) has some experience with dark fantasy family films, having directed the movie adaptation of Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey.
