Wes Anderson to dazzle again with his eighth feature film!
The Grand Budapest Hotel centers on well-composed M. Gustave (Ralph Fiennes) and his adventures as the concierge of the eponymous European hotel during the first half of the 20th century. In between the two world wars, Gustave bares witness to the monumental changes in Europe as well as the theft and of an invaluable Renaissance painting.
The Grand Budapest Hotel is Moonrise Kingdom director Wes Anderson's eighth feature film, following the cult success of seminal art-house flicks like and . Anderson has also written the script, which the director described as having been inspired by the witty comedies of Ernst Lubitsch (Ninotchka).
The Grand Hotel Budapest features a large, wonderful ensemble, consisting of Anderson regulars like Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum (The Life Aquatic) and Jason Schwartzman but also of newcomers the 'Wes Anderson world', like Fiennes (Schindler's List), Saoirse Ronan (Hanna) and Jude Law (Cold Mountain).
Alexandre Desplat, who scored Wes Anderson's last two movies Moonrise Kingdom and The Fantastic Mr. Fox is also providing part of the music for Grand Budapest Hotel. This being a Wes Anderson film, there also will be a lot of songs on the soundtrack.
