Chappie

Neill Blomkamp, of __ fame, looks set to have a busy few years in the directing seat. With star-studded Elysium slated for a March 2013 release date, Blomkamp has indicated he may follow up the already-hyped blockbuster with a smaller sci-fi flick. Chappie sees the upcoming director re-team with co-writer Terri Tatchell in what he recently described as "a fundamentally more simple story, a comedy, a heartfelt story, in a science fiction setting." While specifics are not yet known, Chappie will feature South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord and promises to be an exciting Blomkamp project in the pipeline.

District 9 star Sharlto Copley has signed on to appear in Chappie.
