Marvel's only blind superhero gets a new shot at big screen glory!
The story of this new Daredevil movie is rumored to be based on Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's comic book story arc Born Again. It finds crime lord 'The Kingpin' uncovering blind lawyer Matt Murdoch's superhero alter ego.
Fox decided to let their rights to the blind superhero expire in October 2012 and therefore Daredevil will return to Marvel. Fox was reportedly in talks with Joe Carnahan (The Grey) to direct a gritty version of Daredevil after David Slade pulled out. Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods) has also expressed interest in the project.
