Devil May Cry

A film based on the popular melee combat game. The original game follows Dante, a demon hunter looking to avenge the murders of his mother and brother. With the help of a mysterious devil-woman named Trish, he seeks to conquer 'Mundus', the demon king hell-bent on invading and conquering the human world through a portal to the demon world of Mallet Island.

There's no official word on how closely the film will follow this plot.
