Angry Birds

Angry Birds represents an animated movie version of the most successful mobile game to date. The game itself has a minimal plot, simply featuring various birds who are fired via slingshot at evil green pigs who've stolen their eggs. Angry Birds is as ubiquitous as is addictive!

Angry Birds will be overseen by John Cohen, the producer of such family-friendly hits as Despicable Me, Ice Age, and Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who. The screenplay for the animated charmer is written by Emmy-winning writer/producer Jon Vitti who contributed several teleplays to the TV legend that is The Simpsons.
