Earth's mightiest heroes are bound to assemble for a third time
Marvel's first superhero mash-up took in a whopping $1.5 billion worldwide in 2012. Expect similar numbers for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and The Avengers 3.
Since the first The Avengers, several Marvel stalwarts have joined the MCU. From Star Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and his Guardians of the Galaxy to Age of Ultron newbies, Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicklisilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson): The Avengers 3 can draw on unlimited resources in terms of Marvel characters.
Not clear, however, is if the roles of Thor, Captain America and Hulk are still going to played by the same actors as in the predecessors. One casting decision is made though: Robert Downey Jr. still is Iron Man!
