Ned Benson's 190-minute-long feature film debut is a ambitious project. While the first part, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him, takes a look at the protagonists marriage crisis from the perspective of the husband, the second part, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her looks at the couple's problems from the side of his spouse.

Son Lux, aka Ryan Lott, wrote the score for the movie. He's a post alt rock/hip hop artist and he helped Nathan Johnson put together the Looper score.
