The subsequent adventures of domesticated macaw Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) and his much 'wilder' girlfriend Jewel (Anne Hathaway). The plot of Rio 2 is said to involve the soccer FIFA World Cup 2014.

He also contributed the music for the predecessor, and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song as co-writer for the song 'Real In Rio.'
