What happened with Jack Keruac after On the Road became a phenomenon?
After his autobiographical On the Road becomes a literary sensation, Jack Keruac (Jean-Marc Barr), exasperated and struggling with alcoholism, retreats to his publisher's (Anthony Edwards) cabin in the small, coastal town of Big Sur. A time of quiet introspection begins, with the beautiful landscape functioning as a very different sort of inspiration than his liquor-laden city life.
Big Sur is the first film Michael Polish wrote without his identical brother Mark. They are responsible for films such as Northfolk, The Astronaut Farmer and Twin Falls Idaho. The film premieres at the Sundance Film Festival 2013.
