The Houdini Box

Young Victor only has one hero and his name is Harry Houdini. The would-be-magician tries to emalute the famed deeds of his idol with his own means - to middling results. When the boy one day runs into the legendary magician, his life changes forever...

The Houdini Box is based on the eponymous children's book by Brian Selznick. The author is also responsible for The Invention of Hugo Cabret, which was adapted by Martin Scorsese into the Academy Award winning family film Hugo.
