I'm sure by now you #Marvel fans around the world have seen the characters in #DoctorStrange played by #BenedictCumberbatch, #ChiwetelEjiofor, and #MadsMikkelsen flash their sorcery skills on the big screen.

(There were also many Easter Eggs hidden throughout the film. Which you can check out in the below video.)

However, if you stayed for the end credits (which #MarvelStudios enjoys giving us fans) you learned a little something about Doctor Strange's soon-to-be newest foe #Mordo.

He's not too keen on others using magic.

This got me thinking about one of my favorite fantasy films from the 80's, #Highlander. (If you want to watch a movie about a bunch of immortals screaming, "There can only be one!" then Highlander is for you.) The basic premise of the movie is pretty much about immortals fighting to be the one-and-only immortal roaming the world. Since Mordo has a beef with Doctor Strange and other magic casters, what if he decides to start fighting other sorcerers and magic users in the #Marvel world?

Here is a list of 5 magic users that #Mordo may want to take down.

(I will only focus on the humans/mortals who can use magic. Sorry no #Loki types in this list.)

5. Brother Voodoo

Do you remember in Doctor Strange the name of the sorcerer that was guarding the New York City sanctum? His name was Daniel Drumm. More importantly, his brother is Jericho Drumm, the famous Brother Voodoo. He first appeared in Strange Tales #169 (Sept. 1973). Brother Voodoo mastered the mystic arts of voodoo from his mentor, Papa Jambo and he turned into a better practitioner than his brother. Papa Jambo was so pleased with Jericho's skills, he allowed Jericho to become his successor. Also, Brother Voodoo replaced #DoctorStrange as the #SorcererSupreme for a short time. Mordo will have his hands full if he goes up against this master of voodoo magic.

4. Magik (Illyana Rasputin)

Magik from Marvel comics.

Woman + badass sword = awesomesauce!

#Magik first appeared in the comic book Giant-Size #X-Men #1 (May 1975). She is a mutant with the ability of teleportation. Oh yeah, and she's a sorceress. Want to know how she learned to be one of #Marvel's magic users? Here's a short rundown. While she was living with the #Xmen, she was abducted by Belsaco, the ruler of Limbo. Here she learned how to use white magic from alternate versions of #Storm and #KittyPryde. Illyana was even taught dark magic from Belasco himself. Once she learned to control her magic abilities, she used her own soul to create her famous Soulsword! Later on in life, #Dormammu tries to take over Limbo. So she goes back in time to have #DoctorStrange help her with her powers.

Oh, and let's not forget she's also the younger sister of #Colossus.

Good luck trying to take her down, Mordo. Let's see if your Staff of the Living Tribunal can match her Soulsword!

3) Mordred the Mystic

Ok, Mordo, here's one for you: Mordred the Mystic. He first appeared in Marvel Chillers #1. Mordred was born in the 6th century near Camelot. He was a sorcerer who served as an apprentice in magic to the wizard Gervasse, and was set to become Merlin's apprentice. However, this Merlin was an imposter, and Mordred decided to find another way to defeat the evil Merlin. Modred sought out to master the mystic tome called the #Darkhold, the book of black magic created by the Elder God Chthon. (The Darkhold has also played a part in Marvel's recent #AgentsOfShield season.) Unfortunately, the Darkhold corrupted his soul, and he was placed in suspended animation. When he was awakened in the future, he learned his soul was possessed by Chthon.

Mordo, think you can take on the dark powers of the Darkhold? Best of luck to you!

2) Doctor Doom

Hey Mordo, you think just because #DoctorDoom appeared in that dreck of a movie, #Fantastic4 (2015), that you might have a shot at this guy? As the #Hulk would say, "Puny Human!"

Doctor Doom gained some mystical abilities when he trained with Tibetan Monks. But it's his super-intelligence and intense training from Morgan Le Fey (as well as some training from Doctor Strange) that allowed him to increase his magical powers. Doctor Strange was once quoted as saying that Doom had enough magical ability that he might become the new Sorcerer Supreme.

Mordo, you might want to keep an eye on this one.

1) Nico Minoru

However, Mordo, if you'd rather go after someone with a little less training in the mystical arts, why not try taking down #NicoMinoru from the Marvel series #Runaways. (Hulu even wants to make the comic into a TV series. You can check out the rest of the characters in this article.)

Nico is the daughter of the super-powered villains calling themselves "the Pride." After she leans about this evil group, she and the rest of the gang decide to leave. Nico has a really cool mystical ability. Whenever she bleeds, a powerful staff (Staff of One) emerges from her chest, allowing Nico to bend magic. This staff even made Dormammu shake with terror!

There you go, Mordo! These 5 characters are definitely ones to watch, but you better start training hard if you want to scream from your lungs, "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!"
