As a #StudioGhibli fan, I enjoy seeing fan-made art and videos of Studio Ghibli characters, and this one is no exception. Kojer, a South Korean filmmaker, situates Studio Ghibli characters in real-life landscapes and urban settings.

Human interactions and emotions are key components in a Studio Ghibli film, and Kojer just does that as he skillfully blends fiction and reality together. In the video, the Studio Ghibli characters interact with their surrounding environments as if they were truly part of this world.

Some of the Studio Ghibli #films included in the video are #SpiritedAway, #Ponyo, and #PrincessMononoke. My favorite scenes are the ones that feature Shizuku Tsukishima and Seiji Amasawa from the animated film, Whisper of the Heart (1995). Since that film is set in modern-day Japan, it's more realistic to see these characters brought to life in contrast to the other Studio Ghibli films that are more fantastical.

Which of the films included above are your favorite?
