Four weeks, that's 40,320; that's how many Evan Peters-less minutes we have had to endure since American Horror Story: Roanoke first graced our screens. Like a game of Where's Waldo, everyone is asking, "Where's Evan?". What if the Horror Story veteran has been hiding in plain sight all along? We know that Peters isn't adverse to hiding his face for the show — featuring a Season 1's Rubber Man — and now the latest theory is that Mr. Peters is this season's meaty menace "Piggy Man,"

To get things started, I would like to point out that it is Marti Matulis who is actually credited as "Piggy Man" on IMDb. However, in a world of dual roles, a "pig reveal" could easily be in the cards. Also note that the credits have included both Evan Peters and Cheyenne Jackson's names every episode without them actually appearing on screen; we are now 99% sure that Jackson is the voice of the man behind the camera in the "real life" interviews, so let's round up the theories on who could be the man behind the meat!

Evan Peters

As one of American Horror Story's biggest stars, and a series regular, you would expect quite a lot of screen time if you were Evan. One of the originals, Peters has had a huge presence since the show started in 2011, so we are right to ask where he is. Pulling the pork over our eyes is one way to ensure chatter around the show (not that it needs it). Evan has refused to confirm or deny any allegations, remaining tight-lipped on his whereabouts this season. Turning to Twitter, @ahsnews_feed noticed a similar shoulder bump between our porky perpetrator and Peters:

Could a giant ceramic pig hold a clue? Personally, I think it looks more like a dog than a pig, but rumors were fueled when Peters's Instagram posted a cryptic message. This seemingly innocuous post sent fans into meltdown that it was Evan behind the pig head.

Finn Wittrock

Who else could be playing Piggy Man though? We know that Season 6 will take us on a return trip to the troubled Mott family. Roanoke "Chapter 4" saw Denis O'Hare's doomed Elias tell Matt and Shelby that the house used to belong to Edward Philippe Mott. Wittrock played the dapper Dandy Mott in Freak Show, so we are guessing a distant relative. We are yet to find out what happened to Mr. Mott or his family in Roanoke, but it would make sense to have Wittrock back if we are going to delve deeper into that storyline.

Matt Bomer

The only other "hunk in trunks" that is MIA from Horror Story is Matt Bomer. The blue-eyed boy seemingly checked out after American Horror Story: Hotel, but he could easily be rejoining the rest of the AHS alumni. After all, Lily Rabe's Episode 1 appearance was kept pretty well under wraps. Our Piggy Man clearly keeps himself in shape, as does Bomer!

Marti Matulis

Appearing as The Sandman in Season 1 of Sleepy Hollow, Marti Matulis actually looks like the most sensible answer — after all, he is the actor credited. All those hoping for Peters the Pig should probably pack up now. The 46-year old actor is known for playing non-human entities, also appearing in the likes of Grimm and Star Trek: Nemesis. Notice that rather familiar little bump on his shoulder. Matulis's physique matches the slender and toned body of Piggy Man, so this could be an open and shut case!

Meat Me Half Way

Piggy Man certainly has us heading for the hills, and in all probability away from that spooky ol' house. Why don't the Millers just run away? You have a bloodthirsty horde of colonists and a human spit-roast after you. If Piggy Man isn't Evan Peters, it is probably for the best. Some people look like they would be pretty unhappy at the news that he could be this little piggy:

Apart from sharing a gene pool, the current Piggy Man is of no relation to the masked pig we met back Season 1's Murder House. Whoever Piggy Man really is, and if he ever removes that head, we are sure to be in for a bloody showdown. Roanoke is heading into Texas Chainsaw Massacre territory, and it won't be long before someone ends up in a canned meat factory.
