With the highly-anticipated Arrow-verse crossover set to grace our screens this week, the CW has released the final trailer for the monumental event. This week will see #Supergirl crossing over with fellow CW shows #TheFlash, #Arrow and #LegendsOfTomorrow. And if the new trailer is anything to go by, then it's going to be one heck of a crossover!

Check out the new trailer below:

Despite a string of amazing trailers, this brand new one has revealed quite a lot of new footage about the upcoming crossover, and if anything, it's certainly done a great job of upping our excitement as the #TV event draws nearer. So, just what have we learned from this new look at the crossover?

Oliver & Barry Get Sentimental

One of the first new shots in the trailer reveals Oliver and Barry discussing what they would be doing with their lives if the world wasn't being threatened. What's incredibly appropriate about this moment is that it was these two men — Green Arrow and the Flash — that kickstarted the wider Arrow-verse. Moreover, mixed with the quiet setting of the empty warehouse with the U.S. flag in the background, it also seems like an appropriate "eve of battle" conversation for the two originators of the universe to be having.

We then see the two of them grabbing a drink together in a bar which also happens to have a florescent decoration of the U.S. flag in the background. Perhaps they are enjoying the calm before the storm — before the battle to save the world truly begins.

Supergirl Makes An Unforgettable Entrance

"This is my friend Supergirl."
"This is my friend Supergirl."

We all knew this was coming. Ever since Supergirl moved from CBS to the CW, we all hoped that she would finally make her way to the Arrow-verse. While the show's crossover with The Flash last season solidified that both #superheroes resided on two separate earths, their interactions gave us hope for future reunions. And now, that hope has paid off.

When faced with the threat of aliens, Barry turns to the only alien he knows that can help — Supergirl. While the team don't seem too intrigued by her arrival — with Legends' Jefferson Jackson asking "what makes her so Super?" — Supergirl takes it upon herself to make a memorable impact. And she does — by flying into the sky and using her heat vision to engrave her iconic logo into the floor, which receives gasps of awe from The Flash's H.R. Wells and Arrow's Felicity Smoak. The Dominators had better watch out — the Girl Of Steel has arrived in the Arrow-verse!

In case you haven't heard, the Dominators are unstoppable. Something we learn all too well when the Flash himself, Barry Allen, comments that "no military can stop them." And as we saw in previous trailers, the alien species has no problem moving through the military.

While we're on the subject of the Dominators, the trailer gives us a closeup of one of them. And can I just say, they look terrifying! You can see here that they not only look like "World War Z zombies" — as the Flash so aptly put it — but that they have some form of gauntlet on one arm and a horrifyingly long claw on the other. The CW deserves major credit for pulling off this incredibly loyal portrayal of the comic book aliens, which even feature the red circle on their heads that they are renowned for.

The Heroes Are Recruited To Save The World

Perhaps the most interesting moment of the brand new trailer was when four of our favorite heroes — the Atom, the Flash, Green Arrow and White Canary — are surrounded by black SUVs. Before they can react, they are confronted by numerous suited men holding shotguns. While they may look threatening, it seems they bring an offer with them. We soon see a shot of an older man informing the heroes that this is their chance to save the world.

This could very well be an invitation to the team of superheroes to join forces with the military and take down the Dominators. Which actually seems to fit with the image in the last trailer in which we saw all the heroes lined up on a stage before unformed men and women with an American flag in the background.

It seems like we will see Atom, Firestorm, Citizen Steel, the Flash, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Vixen, White Canary and Spartan all join forces with the military to stop the alien invasion, and save the world. And suddenly, this very much seems like the beginning of a Justice League story.

Sara Vs. Deathstroke

We also caught a glimpse of the returning Deathstroke going toe-to-toe with none other than White Canary, Sara Lance. We already knew that the Deathstroke character would be returning for Arrow's installment of the crossover as it would also be the show's 100th episode, but we weren't quite sure how. While the last trailer gave us a glimpse into how the heroes of Arrow will end up dreaming about their lost loved ones, this new one allows us to see inside Sara's mind. And it appears that she will be reuniting with the deadly swordsman.

Sara and Slade Wilson are no strangers to each other — remember, the two became allies on Lian Yu and were later foes in Starling City as the Canary helped the Arrow take down Slade's army of Mirakuru soldiers. With Sara being a skilled assassin and Deathstroke being virtually unstoppable, we can't wait to see these two square off in Arrow's 100th episode!

Heroes Vs. Aliens

Ever since we saw that amazing image of Supergirl joining the team of heroes on that rooftop as they looked into the sky, we knew that something big was coming. And now we know. As the final trailer closes, we catch a glimpse of a massive army of Dominators who charge at the line of superheroes before them. And in a scene reminiscent of The Dark Knight Rises, the heroes fight back, sprinting towards the impending threat. I think it's safe to say that it looks like all hell is about to break loose.

With the CW's major #DC crossover finally upon us, this final trailer has done a great job of upping all of our excitement. With new alliances formed, we will see the military and the heroes of the Arrow-verse ready to take on the alien threat of the Dominators. Furthermore, we now know how Supergirl will make her debut in the Arrow-verse and that a familiar big bad will reappear to haunt some of our favorite heroes.

As the terrifying aliens arrive on Earth, they won't know what hit them when they find themselves up against the Emerald Archer, Scarlet Speedster, Girl Of Steel and the Legends Of Tomorrow.

The crossover begins tonight on The CW with Supergirl and will continue all week with The Flash on Tuesday, November 29, Arrow on Wednesday, November 30 and it will conclude with Legends Of Tomorrow on Thursday, December 1.
