If you are an Amazon Prime member, not only does that mean you get free two-day shipping on your purchases, it also means you're able to view an entire movie catalog. Competing with other services such as Netflix and Hulu, Amazon Video has a lot to offer. There are many movies that can be viewed via rental or purchase, but if you are a Prime member, that also means you are able to watch a wide selection of movies for free. Here are five of the best movies currently on Amazon Prime, in no particular order.

1. 'Sicario'

The Denis Villeneuve-directed film follows an FBI agent (Emily Blunt) tasked by a CIA official (Josh Brolin) to help take down a Mexican cartel. Things get more complicated with the mysterious Alejandro (Benecio Del Toro), the titular Sicario. Villeneuve's tale about the quagmire of the war on drugs — which can twist everyone involved — is an engrossing tale, highlighted by Roger Deakins's beautiful cinematography. Deserts have never looked as beautiful...neither have gun fights.

2. 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation'

How many franchises are going this strong five movies in? Not many! With this film, Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg all reprise their roles from M:I previous films. They are joined by Alec Baldwin and a star-making turn with the addition of Rebecca Ferguson. This is a spy vs. spy film at its finest and shows that even though the franchise is 20 years old, there is still much gas left in it.

3. 'Knock Knock'

What would you do if you, a married man, were to open your door and find two beautiful women there? That is the dilemma that Keanu Reeves faces in this movie. This bottle film directed by Eli Roth finds Reeves's character facing a conundrum as he is left alone with two young women. Though they give off the appearance of naïveté, there is something much more sinister going on under the surface. This is a Eli Roth film, after all, so expect some thrills.

4. 'The Witch'

If you're going into this movie expecting a balls-to-the-wall horror film, you're looking in the wrong place. Instead you get a much more methodical horror film. This period piece details early American life, when superstition ruled the land. But are the superstitions just that or are they real?

Even if there were no supernatural element, this film shows that living in the time of the Puritans could be horrifying in itself. It may not be for everyone but is definitely one of the most interesting horror/supernatural films to come out lately.

5. 'Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse'

A movie that harkens back to a bygone era of film, it's a mashup of the teen coming-of-age sex comedy and, of course, the zombie movie. What happens when a small town is infested with zombies — and the best people to help save the day are teenage boy scouts? Well, it's pretty hilarious. The film mixes comedy with the horror, along with teenage angst, into a nice package.

These are five picks to check out if you are an Amazon Prime member. What's the worst that will happen? You didn't pay anything extra! So grab a bag of popcorn, a delicious beverage and sit on your couch to watch these movies.
