  • September 21 2016: Brad Pitt's Upcoming Film Allied Releases New Trailer

Given that news has only just broken that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting a divorce, it seems particularly biting that a steamy new trailer of him and Marion Cotillard getting cosy in their upcoming movie Allied should be released today. This is made even more poignant given the vicious rumor mill which attempted to pull Marion into the fray — something she adamantly denies.

Brad Pitt Bio

William Bradley Pitt was born in Shawnee Oklahoma on December 18 1963 to mother Jane, a school counsellor and father Alvin, the owner of a trucking company - the first of their three children. Graduating high school, Brad went on to study journalism with a focus on advertising at the University of Missouri, but two weeks before completing his degree he got itchy feet and left Missouri for the bright lights of LA in the hope of one day, becoming a star.

After a slew of TV appearances as a young aspiring actor in NBC’s Another World, ABC’s Growing Pains and a brief cameo on Fox’ 12 Jump Street (which was currently launching Johnny Depp’s career at the time), it was only when Brad was cast in Ridley Scott’s iconic movie Thelma and Louise alongside Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis in 1991 that the world begun to fall under the spell of Brad's hypnotic charm. This was helped by the fact that he spent most of his on-screen time topless, searing his perfectly ripped abs into the collective memory for all eternity.

From here, Brad never looked back. With incredible performances in the likes of True Romance, Interview with the Vampire, Se7en, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Snatch, Oceans Eleven, Mr&Mrs Smith, Babel, Inglorious Basterds 12 Years a Slave and Fury to name but a few, Brad has starred in some of the most notable movies of the past century, amassing a serious net worth and reaching new heights of fame.

But he's not only focused on his movie career. Amongst being a philanthropist, a licensed pilot and a keen golfer, Brad is also a family man, fathering six children with former wife Angelina Jolie: Maddox (age 14), Pax (age 12), Zahara (age 11), Shiloh (age 10) and twins Knox and Vivienne (age 8). Speaking to The Mirror, Brad stated:

It's this winning combination of undeniable talent, smooth-talking charm and just the simple fact that he's a genuinely nice guy which has allowed Brad to become one of the greatest stars in Hollywood history. Always choosing exciting roles with integrity, we can't wait to see what Brad has in store for us over the next coming months.
