The Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool, exploded unceremoniously onto cinema screens in February this year with such vigour, vulgarity and vanity that a sequel was instantly a no-brainer. So much so, Wade Wilson was confident enough in the post-credit scene to confirm Deadpool 2, as well as the inclusion of Cable.
But the half-Cyborg son of Cyclops isn't the only new addition to Fox's wonderful, R-rated world. A few months ago, it was announced the mercenary (and Cable's love interest) Domino would also feature, with Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire) the favorite to land the role.

Tough Competition For Domino
It looks like Davis will have some tough competition, though. Collider recently reported their list of actresses who are screen testing to become a part of the superhero franchise, including nine of the industry's most promising up-and-coming talents.
Each has the ability to bring something slightly different to the role; there's no mistaking that Domino is fierce, and will likely ignite a turbulent onscreen chemistry with Deadpool. The pair share a similar background, with Domino also the product of a secret Government program.
In the comics, the character — whose real name is Neena Thurman — later joined a team of mercenaries called the Six Pack, where she met Cable. She later also joined X-Force, the antihero collection of mutants who could, possibly, feature in Deadpool 2.
