(Warning: The following contains moderately sized potential SPOILERS for Game of Thrones Season 7. Proceed with whatever level of caution your friendly neighborhood Three-Eyed Raven suggests to you is wise.)

Now, we all already knew that winter was coming to #HBO's #GameOfThrones, but from the looks of it, it's bringing a whole lot of wind with it, too. That, at least, is the most obvious takeaway from dragon-riding star #EmiliaClarke's latest Instagram post. In it, Clarke is being visibly buffeted by what she describes as "a brisk 50mph N. Irish wind" — with social media-friendly results.

As it turns out, though...

That Instagram Post Contains A Handful Of Fairly Major Spoilers For Game of Thrones Season 7

Y'see, the video very much seems to confirm that Clarke is currently filming in Northern Ireland — the show's stand-in for the northern parts of Westeros — which in turn means that we can now be sure that #Daenerys really will make it all the way to her homeland in Season 7.

That, though, may not be the end of the video's teasing potential. Clarke's presence in Northern Ireland most likely also suggests that Daenerys is — as has been widely speculated by fans — set to land in the West, in the rough vicinity of her new Greyjoy allies' ancestral Iron Islands homeland. That, at least, seems to be the most obvious implication of the filming location. What's more, if we choose to take Clarke's hashtagging at face value, it seems as though we may well get to see Daenerys ride Drogon in similarly windy conditions at some point. After all, she did take time to add that a "#bitoftailwinddoesnicleyonadragonridethough..."

Which inevitably makes it difficult not to imagine Daenerys swooping down on her foes atop her trusty (well, moderately trusty) scaled steed. A preemptive strike against the Iron Islands, perhaps? It'd certainly make for one hell of a cold open for Episode 1.
