There's great news for Funko Pop! collectors today (and I know there are a ton of you out there), as Funko are about to take things formal with their new Disney princess releases!

With the wave of a fairy godmother's wand, our favorite Disney princesses are now looking fit for a ball in their beautiful formal gowns. Take a look at the new additions (which are available for purchase later this month) below:

Belle sure looks like a beauty in her famous yellow dress.

Here's hoping Cinderella has both of her glass slippers securely on her feet under this floor-length gown.

Rapunzel

It's probably a good thing Rapunzel doesn't have her frying pan if she's off to a ball.

Ariel's sparkly gown is a Hot Topic exclusive!

But despite our fave girls getting their new formal looks, I can't help but think of a few more overlooked Disney princesses who are deserving of their own figurines as well. Here's a few other Disney princesses who may not quite make the rank of official Disney princess, but are deserving of a Funko Pop! all the same:

Esmeralda

This smart and sassy Romani would be an amazing addition to the Funko lineup. Esmeralda actually used to be a part of the initial Disney princesses lineup (despite not having a royal connection), but has been absent from it since 2005 - I say bring her back - and this time, in Funko figurine form!

Kida

Atlantic: The Lost Empire was not a commercial success for Disney and as a result Princess Kida never joined the official Disney princess lineup. However, this fierce and strong warrior princess deserves her time in the spotlight, and would make a fab looking Funko.

Megara

Free-spirited Megara from Hercules is unique among female Disney characters, due to her snarky and cynical ways. With such a unique personality in the Disney universe, surely this ancient Greek gal would be an amazing Pop! addition.

Giselle

The oft-forgotten Giselle is usually remembered as the live-action version played by Amy Adams, but she's also an animated Disney princess as well! Sweet natured Giselle is definitely deserving of being immortalized in the Pop! figurine family.
