Now, there are a whole lot of reasons why the on-screen versions of #Frozen's #Elsa and #SuicideSquad's #HarleyQuinn are unlikely to ever meet — not least the fact that they're owned by perma-competitors #Disney and #WarnerBros. That, though, is precisely the sort of cold, commercially accurate logic that holds little sway nowadays — what this being a "post-truth" Trump-ian world and all. As such, it's not all that surprising that one of the internet's greatest sources of topical, slightly unnerving fan art — BossLogic — has asked the question few of us were asking, but are now surely united in demanding the answer to: Just what would Elsa from Frozen look like if she were cosplaying as Harley Quinn?

This Elsa/Harley Quinn Mashup Is Surprisingly Effective

Indeed, it seems that the nigh-unstoppable combination of being blonde, fictional and culturally ubiquitous makes for a far more satisfying piece of mashup art than might otherwise seem likely.

Plus, there's a lot to be said for both the subtle Disney logo — which seems to equate the House of Mouse's ownership of Elsa to Harley Quinn's problematically co-dependent and abusive relationship with The Joker — and the fact that "Elsa Quinn" is actually wearing a functional amount of clothing.

The only problem? I'm now going to have this stuck in my head for the rest of the day/week/lifetime:

And, I suppose, now you are too.

Want even more Disney-related fan art with a darker twist, though? Never fear, we've got you covered right here.
