It's been almost a week since the conclusion of the most divisive election in American history, and many people are still reeling. Two-time Academy Award winner and outspoken Trump critic Robert De Niro is one of those people.

Last Thursday, De Niro went on The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast and addressed the situation regarding the new President-elect:

"I feel like I did after 9/11. And we'll just see what happens. There will be many, many, many, many, many people watching."

The 73-year-old actor first publicized his issues with the Republican candidate in a campaign video back in October. De Niro called Trump a punk, a pig and a national disaster in a speech that was cut from the final version of the video but later released separately. Watch the whole thing now:
