The 2017 It movie has finished shooting, so can we have it NOW please? Sadly, we'll have to wait until the official release date, September 8, 2017, which makes 2017 in horror a pretty exciting prospect.

To celebrate wrapping the project, It producer Barbara Muschietti shared this pic of a delightfully freaky, Pennywise-esque jack-in-the-box. Suitably creepy, no?

Muschitti captioned the post:

And yes, it's a wrap on #itthemovie. Thank you amazing cast and crew for this magical journey. And thank you #stephenking for giving us this tale.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith also had a clever Instagram post to offer, with a cool pic of what appears to be the mask used to apply Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise make-up.

Despite many frantic questions from SGS's Instagram followers, the mask doesn't seem to be for sale to avid prop collectors.

Is there any chance that the new Pennywise could be scarier than the Tim Curry Pennywise from the 1990 adaptation?
