Keeping Up With The Kardashians is on indefinite hiatus as the whole family pulls together to support Kim after her traumatic ordeal in Paris.
In a short statement about the family's collective descision to stop the cameras rolling, the Kardashian clan explained how Kim's recovery was their biggest focus during this difficult time:
"Kim's well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume."
Most of the family has been entirely silent on social media since the brutal attack which saw arguably the most famous Kardashian being bound and gagged by five masked men in her Paris apartment. Only sister Kourtney sent out a poignant word of prayer yesterday:
The cancelling of the family's long-running reality show (it first screened in 2007), which hasn't flinched away from showing near deaths, births and heartbreak in candid detail, is indicative of the severity of the situation.
The statement also supports People's story which claims that Kim "blames herself" for the robbery due to the fact that she had shown off her million dollar jewelry on Snapchat just hours before the robbery.
As anyone who has been mugged or violently assaulted will know, it can take months to feel safe again after the incident and my heart really goes out to Kim during this turbulent time. Don't blame yourself, babes.
