Now, with #Fox's #Logan still several months away from hitting theaters, it's no real surprise that we're collectively a little obsessed with every last detail of plot, tone and casting we can forcibly wring from its trailer, cast and the gossip mill at large. After all, this is #HughJackman's final film as #Wolverine, for crying out loud. That's not only a massive deal, it's also about as close as superhero movies get to actual tragedy without someone dying. Heck, there's a reason that the internet had a mild freak out after the film's first trailer hit last week: As a culture at large, we really, really, really love Wolverine:

A fact, it seems, that Logan's director is well aware of, seeing as...

Logan Director James Mangold Just Released A Topless Picture Of Hugh Jackman Into The World

Mangold, y'see, clearly recognizes two key facts about the internet:

1. We all like to see behind-the-scenes glimpses of an iconic actor in character.

2. A large percentage of us rather like to see topless pictures of Hugh Jackman.

As such, Mangold's cunning plan to raise ever-so-slightly more awareness about his upcoming movie is, it seems, going well as of right now. The best part, though? We can likely expect to see many more such images in the months to come, seeing as Mangold has been releasing a slow but steady stream of such pictures to his #Twitter feed over the past few weeks, including a sneak peek at the elder Professor X...

...a storyboard or two...

...our first look at Stephen Merchant as old-school X-character Caliban...

...a nice side-on shot of Jackman's Wolverine...

...and, of course, a glimpse of Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney/X-23:

All of which collectively adds up to a fairly solid argument for a) following James Mangold on Twitter, and b) keeping your eyes peeled on this very site for further updates from Logan, and its director. After all, it doesn't hit theaters until March 2017, so there's plenty of time for teasing yet.

Want more Logan right away, though? Never fear, we've got you covered right here.
