We've already seen one teaser in which Lemony Snicket lamented the series's very existence, and a trailer that introduced the most loathsome guardian around. Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Snicket) has been prepping us all week with plenty of painful promo pics, and now, the second official trailer for #Netflix's #ASeriesOfUnfortunateEvents has finally arrived!

This time we get to see a bit more of everything — not just Olaf and the Baudelaires, but Mr. Poe, Justice Strauss, Aunt Josephine, Uncle Monty, and Olaf's nefarious troupe of henchman. Neil Patrick Harris's Olaf does seem far more sinister and less ridiculous than Jim Carrey's version, but it's nice to know he's not completely without comedic relief.

The most confusing part of the trailer, however, comes at the very end, where it looks like Olaf is poised to do battle with a mysterious new character. Who could this weapon-packing golden woman be? If she's trying to fight with Olaf she's probably an ally of the Baudelaires, but if Lemony Snicket has taught us anything, it's that not everything is as it seems...
