(Warning: The following contains mild potential — albeit largely theoretical — SPOILERS for upcoming Marvel/Netflix series. Though, to be honest, if you already know what 'The Defenders' is going to be, you should be a-OK. Proceed with caution and all that, though.)

Now, ever since Jessica Jones expanded their universe beyond Daredevil's narrow focus, Marvel's Netflix shows have been extremely fond of teeing up future projects in their critically acclaimed superhero dramas. Daredevil Season 2 firmly established The Punisher, for instance, while Jessica Jones itself introduced the streaming service's latest titular hero, Luke Cage. A whole that will presumably be completed by the arrival of its "fourth corner," Iron Fist, in the near future.

Or, alternatively, Marvel and Netflix just really like wide shots of their shared heroes standing on street corners, and we're collectively reading way too much into this. But honestly, where's the fun in that?

Still want more on Luke Cage, though? Never fear, we've got shiny new Easter Eggs for you right here.

In the meantime, what do you think? Just how much do you think has already been secretly teased about The Defenders? Let us know below!
