There's not long to go now until The Walking Dead Season 7 finally arrives on our screens, with the premiere episode of the first half of the season arriving October 23, 2016. That's only 6 and half weeks from now, not that we're counting or anything.
Speaking of counting, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan is still counting down the nursery rhyme to determine who's meeting their ultimate fate in the premiere episode, or it least it feels that way after the devastating Season 6 cliffhanger. The official trailer for Season 7 landed at the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer, and it promised that this season will be unlike anything we've seen before.
The Walking Dead Season 7 will see the survivors facing off against Negan and his Saviors, and will introduce The Kingdom, The Sanctuary and Khary Payton as King Ezekiel. And don't forget Shiva, his pet tiger. Yep, The Walking Dead is about to get a tiger, what could go wrong?
And now we've got another sneak peek at the upcoming season in the form of a new batch of posters from AMC. And as you may expect, they're decisively Negan flavored.
There's nothing particularly new here to those who have been keeping up with the Season 7 teaser footage, but the new promo images reaffirm the fact that there are less than two months to go until we'll finally learn who bit the dust, and can finally move on with our lives from there.

The Next World
A callback here to Season 6 episode "The Next World" — where Tom Payne made his debut as Jesus, and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) got busy for the first time.
This poster definitively states that the world of The Walking Dead will be changed forever with the arrival of Negan. And you don't need to see his face to know that he'll likely be grinning all over at the thought of letting Lucille get cozy with somebody's face soon enough.
The Price Will Be Paid
The only poster to feature main character Rick Grimes, "the price will be paid" has somewhat of a double meaning here. Firstly, the survivors will pay for going against the Saviors with the lives of one of their members, as drawn out in the Season 6 finale.
But secondly, Rick will be paying a price to Negan every day from here on out — as part of the deal between Alexandria and the Saviors will be that Negan's group will receive tribute in exchange for the survivors' continued existence. How the rest of the group react to that, well, that's what Season 7 is going to be all about.
The Big Bad Wolf
"Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in..." Negan is knocking on the gates of Alexandria, and life is about to change forever.
Comic book readers will recognize the imagery from this poster — likely it's taken from the first time the Saviors come to Alexandria for a "supply run." If the show plays this episode out anything like its source material does, well, it's going to be one hell of a messy ride.
