My favorite childhood toy, hands down, was a small remote-controlled R2-D2 that I would trail me around the house. I vividly remember unwrapping it on Christmas morning and promptly putting my new droid friend to work on our Rebel missions. Those were the good old days.

Now, with the combined efforts of Christmas and movie magic, Duracell and Star Wars have recaptured that feeling of playing make-believe with their new commercial, How the Rebels Saved Christmas.

Prepare to be doused by a bucket full of feels, because this will be the most heartwarming thing you've seen on the internet all day.

Well, there we have it. The sweetest video on the internet today! Let's take a closer look at this kid-filled version of Star Wars.

With battery-powered Star Wars, I guess anything is possible. Even turning a simple delivery into a covert Rebel mission.

The camaraderie shared between this adorable group of kids, not to mention the Christmas lights strung up everywhere, reminds me a lot of Stranger Things. Whether fighting a Demogorgon delivering a droid, everything is better with friends.

This is the kind of Christmas story I can get into. And in my eyes, there is no greater gift than sharing your remote controlled R2-D2 with someone.

If that commercial didn't warm your heart, then you must be colder than a Tauntaun split wide open on Hoth.

The next installment in the Star Wars franchise, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will reach theaters on December 16.
