#RyanReynolds is clearly a man of extremes. One moment the 40-year-old actor is sincerely gushing about his endless adoration for his young family, the next he is telling the world that he fell in love with #BlakeLively after they banged. Get yourself a guy who can do both, eh?

In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Reynold's channeled his fictional pervy twin brother Gordon and confessed that he knew his wife was "the one" after they had sex, and he really didn't mince his words. When the star was asked when he knew what love was, he answered:

"Probably after the sex. No, we were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, ‘Want to dance?’ No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, ‘Oh, I think I just crossed a line.’ And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that."

The look of... love?

I see your double bluff there, Ryan. Bringing out the sex joke, retracting it and then bamming out again...

Although it's not unusual for that potent mix of endorphins to make people realize just how much their partner's mean to them after making the beast with two backs, Ryan made it clear that their relationship is much more than physical.

"I’m on the precipice of having a real American family. I mean, I always imagined that would happen, and then it happened. Every idiotic Hallmark-card cliché is true."

Never change, guys, never change.

When did you know you were in love with your partner?
