Now, when it was first announced back in 2014 that #WillArnett's breakout star of #TheLegoMovie, #LegoBatman, would be getting his own solo movie in 2017, many fans were a little thrown by the news. After all, many wondered, is there really room on the big screen for both the dark, #DCEU #Batman and a comedic animated take on the hero? #WarnerBros, it was widely theorized, might just be pushing the brand a little too far. And then the first trailer for #TheLegoBatmanMovie arrived, and suddenly nobody was all that worried anymore.

After all, as it turned out, the animated Batman looked to be not only hilarious, but sufficiently completely the opposite of #BenAffleck's DCEU-based approach to offer no conflict whatsoever. And so, prepare for your anticipation muscles to be strained once again, since...

The Brand New Lego Batman Movie Trailer Teases Batgirl, Snake Clowns, And Several Other Awesome Things

Indeed, within its brief running time, the trailer offers several extremely good reasons to get over-excited by the prospect of the film's arrival, including a snake clown-fearing Batman...

Now, I suppose it's entirely possible to have watched that there trailer without getting supremely over-excited/giggling like an idiot, but I can't entirely work out how. Sedatives, perhaps? Either way, there's a pretty strong chance that you're now in need of even more Lego Batman, so as to placate the newly ever-burning impatience in the very heart of your being.
