Few works of fiction in my adult life have captured the hearts and imaginations the same way Harry Potter did decades ago. But with its throwback '80s vibes, Netflix's summer hit series Stranger Things satisfied that nostalgic craving while also offering us something new.

Not to mention, it also included one of the most lovably adorkable casts in recent memory.

At long last, somebody, Comedy Central in this case, paired the Harry Potter trio with the Stranger Things gang, thus creating my ultimate squad goals.

Check out the expertly crafted Potter Things mashup video to satisfy a pop culture craving you didn't even know you had:

Usually Hogwarts is protected by a series of spells and charms, but an electric fence couldn't hurt either. I also question Mike in his decision to forgo the standard boat ride across the Black Lake. That's something I wouldn't miss for the world.

Sadly the video didn't show Mike, Lucas and Dustin getting sorted into Hogwarts Houses. Any guesses as to which Houses they would each end up in? (My bet: Mike and Dustin in Gryffindor and Lucas in Ravenclaw.)

Crazy and the brightest witch of her age? A deadly combination.

Between Eleven and Hermione, there's more than enough kickass girl power to vanquish Voldemort and the Demogorgon.

I would love to see Eleven go head-to-head with Professor Snape in one of his famed Occlumency lessons.

Now there's the movie I really want to see. Move over, Fantastic Beasts!
