Out of all the X-Men, Wolverine is undoubtedly the most popular, and while Deadpool has stolen the limelight this year with his first solo venture, Ol' Canucklehead is set to claw his way back to the top with his next movie.
After months of speculation, Hugh Jackman has finally revealed the official title of Wolverine 3 and no, it's not Weapon X or even Old Man Logan. All is revealed in the poster below:
The name "Logan" marks a back-to-basics approach for the X-Men franchise after the majority of the films have added on every colon title possible in recent years. As a result of this, we're still none the wiser regarding the film's direction plot-wise, although there's a lot of evidence out there to suggest that Old Man Logan will come into play somehow.

What's most exciting though is the poster itself, which depicts Logan holding hands with a small girl. Now, unless Wolverine has had a secret kid in the last few years, it seems like we could very well be looking at our very first glimpse of X-23, a female clone of Logan who shares the same abilities and even takes on his code name at one point.

Failing that, the child depicted in the Logan poster could also be Daken, Wolverine's son, who also shares similar abilities. However, rumors up to this point have focused mainly on X-23 and this option makes more sense as her character has a higher profile in the comics. At the end of the day, it's obviously hard to tell exactly who the child is at this stage. Our money's on X-23 though.
How X-23 enters the X-Men universe remains to be seen, but quite frankly, we couldn't be more x-cited to see Laura Kinney in action. Remember to check back soon for more on this developing story.
