Rumored

There’s no official word but an actor has showed interest, future plans have been muttered, or a sequel seems inevitable.

Planning

A screenplay has been commissioned, someone has bought the rights, or a movie is in full swing pre-production.

Filming

They’ve hit the set, lines are being read and cameras are rolling!

Post-production

Editing has begun, special effects are being worked on, and music is being recorded.

That’s a wrap, the film is complete! Coming to theaters in the US on this date.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Baz Luhrmann team up again in another decadent movie adaptation

Arriving in New York at the peak of the roaring twenties, Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) is drawn into the luxurious world of his mysterious neighbor Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) and soon discovers things are far from picture-perfect. Beyond Gatsby’s nouveau riche facade lies an obsession with the married Daisy Fay Buchanan (Carey Mulligan) which will lead to tragedy in the adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s great American novel.

Although The Great Gatsby was originally slated for a Christmas release date, a budget shortfall and rumored re-shoots have delayed production.
