Channing Tatum must save White House… Independence Day-style!

Destruction specialist Roland Emmerich, the director of Independence Day and 2012, takes aim at the White House. White House Down is described as Die Hard in the White House, and stars Channing Tatum as a Secret Service agent who has to save the day when the White House gets attacked and the President‘s (Jamie Foxx) life is in grave danger.

James Woods will play the head of the presidential security team. Richard Jenkins plays the Speaker of the House, while Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Woods play Secret Service agents.

James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man) wrote the screenplay which sold for the astounding sum of $3 million.
